Arsenal Football Club, also known as the Gunners, is one of the most popular football clubs in the world. The club is based in London, England, and was founded in 1886. Since then, Arsenal has become one of the most successful and iconic clubs in the history of English football. History : Arsenal Football Club was originally founded as Dial Square in 1886 by a group of workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, south-east London. The club played its first match on December 11th, 1886, against Eastern Wanderers, which they won 6-0. In 1893, the club changed its name to Woolwich Arsenal and joined the Football League. In 1913, Arsenal moved to Highbury, north London, where the club played until 2006. During the 1930s, Arsenal enjoyed its most successful period in the club's history, winning the First Division title five times and the FA Cup twice. The club continued to enjoy success in the 1940s, winning the league title in 1948 and the FA Cup in 1950. However, the club went throug
